Company History
Taylors Services is a family business established in 1977 by Keith Taylor, initially operating as an Electrical contractor.
In 1990 Ben Taylor formed a partnership with Keith to expand the services to include Plumbing and Heating.
In 1996 Lewis Taylor joined the partnership as Business Manager and to offer Building Surveying Services.
As part of the company’s continuted expansion Taylors Services became Taylors Services (Oxford) Ltd in 2007.
It is still a family run business offering a personal and professional service to all clients.
Electrical
Jonny Wilson joined the business in 2002 as Electrical Works Manager, supporting Keith Taylor prior to his retirement.
Jonny took over from Keith when he retired and now runs the electrical services division.
Jonny is supported by a staff of qualified and experienced electricians, as well as providing a proven apprentice training programme.
The electrical division specializes in residential installations however, our client portfolio includes office, commercial, light industrial and leisure customer sectors.
Plumbing and Heating
Ben is a Gas Safe registered plumbing and heating engineer, having joined Keith after working for a local company for ten years.
Ben has expanded the plumbing and heating division, employing Gas Safe registered plumbers and offering apprentice training.
In addition to all aspects of domestic plumbing and heating we can also offer full design and specification of heating and hot water installations, plant rooms and associated mechanical services.
Building Surveying
Lewis qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor with a national surveying practice and has subsequently joined the business to offer traditional building surveying services.
New Premises
Taylors Services have operated in Wheatley since 1996 and in 2001 purchased Samuels Butchers Shop in the High Street.
The property was extensively refurbished and we were pleased to move in to our new premises in January 2002.
Our new offices have enabled us to employ additional staff and tradesmen, therefore expanding our services and facilities to ensure all our clients receive a professional service.
